Prof. Marcia Langton is Associate Provost and Foundation Chair of Australian Indigenous Studies at the University of Melbourne. During the 1970s she was active in the women's liberation movement, drawing attention to the oppression of indigenous women. In 1993 she was made a member of the Order of Australia for her service as an anthropologist and advocate of Aboriginal issues.

An artist, performer, scholar and political activist, Marcia Langton promises to give a provocative and fascinating lecture.
