REMEMBERING POCAHONTAS

Thursday, June 15, 2017 Start time: 6:30 pm

Multi-disciplinary

Venue: Syon House

This important commemoration is not to be missed.  The evening begins with a very special Native American ceremony in the grounds of Syon Park to introduce the journeys of three modern Native American women following in the steps of Pocahontas 400 years after her death; and will culminate in the screening of our film, HIDDEN HISTORIES, about indigenous travellers to London, narrated by Oscar-winner Mark Rylance.  ORIGINS invites you to commemorate Pocahontas in the very house where she stayed during her visit to Britain: the London home of the Earls of Northumberland.

Tickets: £20 (includes a glass of wine)
